M. Ginsberg, Essentials of Artificial Intelligence, the required text for the class. All of the reading assignments are from this book. Note that I will not lecture from this book. This book should be viewed as a supplement to the lectures.

A Lisp text is available [1] on-line through the World Wide Web. If you would prefer to have a hard copy text to reference, consult the Lisp textbook list to pick one.

LECTURE NOTES. This is a copy of all of the overhead slides that will be used during the class. Students can purchase a copy at the University Copy Center (between 16th and 17th St. on University Ave.). Each video tape site will be provided with a single copy of these notes which can be copied locally for the students who are enrolled. A PowerPoint Viewer and copies of the actual lecture notes are available online.[2]
